Welcome to Corporate Fiction Land! Corporate "Fiction" courts have their own meanings for words to get you to contract with them and their rules in their court. Remember "It's a big club and you ain't in it!" They want you under their big club, not in it!
Their words like "understand" means to stand under and that is why the defendant (participant) is at a lower level than the judge. (Question, if you are innocent until proven guilty, why are you the defendant?) Why do you "appear" in court? Because fictions appear like ghosts. Why do you "represent" yourself? A representation is a creation taking the place of the real thing. When you contract with the courts to come "under" their jurisdiction, you give up your flesh and blood God creation and become a "new creature" and a ward of the court. Judges use legalese to get you to contract with them and surrender your God given status.
Hence, Judge Reed continues to practice the chicanery of the court. Here are definitions from early Black's Law Dictionary at a time when more truth was revealed.
Here is an explanation that was made of fictions in a "Proper Corrections of Defendant's Response" that Thomas, Gene, and I filed in the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals on 7/14/15!
