This is a line from the end of the movie “Things to Come” based on a book by Fabian Socialist H.G. Wells. Wells championed a scientific technocracy ruled by a superior class.
Good question. What will it be?
Will it be a continued decent into the tyranny of a global police state?
Will it be a second bloody internal war or WWW III?
Will it be limited political gains in attempts to return to a Christian based Constitutional Republic?
Scripturally, a total societal reprieve would require widespread repentance and turning from wicked ways which presently seems highly unlikely.
I believe the Lord has orchestrated a free will option for individuals to legally unyoke themselves from a government that violated the terms of the contract. A new contract, J3:16fGsltwthghobS, has been established through arbitration and is open to all Americans via an opt-in procedure.
Prayerfully, the many hundreds of men and women exercising this option will serve notice to a nation already experiencing chaos. A wake-up call of this magnitude will be hard to ignore.
This option, formally known as Bill of Peace 2020, is peaceful but profound. It mirrors the actions and convictions of the early first century Christians who took their ambassadorship roles seriously. They just wanted to be left alone to practice free will choice and serve the Lord, not Caesar.
