First and foremost, keep contacting your Senators and Representatives. They must understand that we are not going away, and the heat will be turned up until they do their duty. In that regard, everyone will be soon notified of our the next exciting move.
Many people are doing great work. I have shown Becky's faxes and Allan's encouraging email will be listed below.
Here is a redacted dropbox fax that I sent to every Senator that I could find a fax number for followed by a pdf file of known contact information for every Senator. There are check marks by every Senator that was faxed.
I will email or call to get the fax numbers for the rest of the Senators.
Continue to call my Legislators until face to face meetings are scheduled:
(Note: everyone can relay the firstname.lastname@example.org email as a way for anyone to contact me. Understand, I did give out my phone number to the opted-in folks in D.C., but cannot publish here on the website. Email must indicate for my attention. Thanks.)
Allan’s message below:
Phil and company
I just got finished calling all 100 senators and left a message with most of them. It took a little over two hours to do so and I’m going to plan on doing it on a semi regular basis throughout the week. I couldn’t leave messages for eight of the 100 senators because they either didn’t answer the phone at all or their answering machine did not take messages and Pat Roberts signal was busy.
If we could get an army of phone warriors together calling senators and representatives every night I think we could push this through. I intentionally started calling at 10:30 PM central time because the phone lines were not bogged down and I could go straight to voicemail and put in the bill of peace request. I used the link on my phone to set up each call quickly. Each call was about 1 minute.
This is what I said
“This is Allan XXXXXXXXX a concerned American calling you about your help introducing a private bill to the Senate floor called Bill of peace 2020. If you need more information please contact the author of the bill named Phil Hudok at 304-940-XXXX. Thanks”
