Concerning the two law firms named in the previous update, on Good Friday, I received a receipt of contribution from the Rutherford Institute. I had included a financial consideration with the packet of information. I felt it reasonable for requested time spent. I simply offer that as FYI. Not having received a response, I am currently deciding on how to follow-up.
I am attending an all-day meeting this coming Saturday, 4/10 at the Days Inn in Flatwoods, W.Va. (See speakers below) I have purchased an informational table at the event. I am inviting a criminology professor to attend as my guest. (website is ipwv.org)
I suggest listening to a link (below) to an interview that Huntington Radio talk show host, Tom Roten, did with former Delegate and 2020 Governor Candidate, Marshall Wilson organized the Flatwoods event. It explains who will be speaking and the purpose of the Days Inn get together. Marshall and all the true “rule of law” W.Va. legislators have been attacked by the Rino Republicans. It is apparent that both long established parties are simply establishment parties. Marshall was one of the few legislators who tried to get the W.Va. Supreme Court to act against the Governor’s overreach with a Writ after he was unable to get the legislature to call a special session. He recently ran write-in against Governor Justice and got enough votes to establish statewide ballot access.
Marshall and I are friends and there is a connection that occurred with Marshall during the early stages of what eventually became the arbitration award. Delegate Marshall and I had a discussion at the point when unanswered petitions for redress of grievances had been served on all branches of government in W.Va. Marshall agreed on the problem but at that time didn’t see how he could help. Now he and others will be made aware of “the rest of the story.”
Please keep everything in prayer, which is #1. Numbers 2 and 3 are education and numbers with action.
